I saw a couple topics on this but they seemed to be from some time ago. I received a request to have a research note on a specific note type added to a list of records we are "pausing" from solicitation for a period but want to have a note of why. I checked shared reports but didn't see any and it appears due to multiple tables being used for storing data like there it isn't very straightforward on the SSMS side. Has anyone built something to accomplish this they would be willing to share? If not, I may try and get something developed that would allow a list selected with parameters to select the note type and a filed to enter a value. Very similar to how the current Update Attribute utility works but pointed to Research. Since the plan is to do these en masse all will get the same messaging but could see value with a possible CSV import option with a couple columns if different messages are needed. I'd probably be more comfortable with one offs though since that makes it easier to proof.
