I am the Constituent Manager for a regional historic non profit that has at least one, if not two, elevated events or fundraising events per year. We have found it is hard to sell tickets online for these events, particularly because of the 'wall' between ticketing and contributions in Tessitura, especially when using TNEW. We moved to Tessitura just under two years ago, and have been selling tickets and sponsorship's for major events with each level being a donation. For example, we created a donation url for one ticket, donation url for two tickets, donation url for three tickets, etc. We found that if we use the ticketing template to sell these event tickets, which looks better on the donors end, the money ends up on the ticketing end of the record, regardless of what GL code we link the gift to. Has anyone found a way to sell and elevated event by using the ticketing template and having the contributions from those purchases go to the contribution tab in the record?Thank you very much!
