Elevated Events

We use Elevated Events for all events where money is received and where that money is counted as a donation – tax-deductible or not.  For non-paid events we use Activites.

If you are coming to the conference I recommend you attend two sessions:

1. A Peer-to-Peer Presenation about Events - So You Want to Be a Party Planner? Tessitura-Savvy Events on Tuesday, August 10 at 3:15 PM

2. Events Discussion – What’s the Occasion? Making Your Event Special on Thursday, August 12 at 9:00 AM

I also recommend you sit down with those in your department who plan your events and figure out specifically what they need to track and what they want their reports to look like.  Once you have that, read the documentation and do some experimenting in your test database to find out if Elevated Events will do what you need them to do.
