Our organization is looking into starting the text-to-give option for our donors. Has anyone used this option through the Tessitura platform? If so, how do I get that started?
Earlier this year I set up an option for CMA using the GiveLively platform. They are free, you just pay the Stripe fee for processing transactions, and Stripe offers a nonprofit discount. GiveLively has lots of friendly guides on how to get started using their service, very user-friendly.
This project was put on hold, the intent was to use textcodes at onsite events and exhibitions in May and June, so we didn't get as far as using it. I'm in the process of configuring the Contribution Import Utility, which CMA has never used before, I'm going to run a few test batches and see how that goes.
In the webinar that just ended, one of the upcoming TNEW updates mentioned is Donate2 mobile giving - doesn't look like there's any details available yet, but it looked like it might be a text-to-give option.
