New week, new topic. Revisit Your Case for Support – Organizational Relevance and Vision during Social Distancing. A compelling case for support is the anchor for all organizational fundraising efforts. With us all feeling a little unmoored, how can you as a fundraiser make the case in new ways, with different words, to explain why individuals should continue to support you when they cannot attend a performance or visit your space?
Come one, come all — fundraisers and fundraising adjacent welcome! We’ve been hosting small group video discussions for a couple weeks now, and the idea sharing has been outstanding. Please forward this email to anyone who might like to attend (you can use a personal email to sign up if you don’t have access to your work email right now). We’ll gather for a brief workshop for you to review your organization’s case for support. Then, using breakout rooms, we’ll separate into small discussion groups. We’ll discuss over video chat how we as fundraisers can take steps to reframe our case for support in these times. What comes next for arts and culture fundraising? We'll come back together for each group to report on their discussion.
Thursday, April 9, 1 p.m. Eastern. Registration is required. Please register here.
Let's keep connected! Be well, friends.
