Studio Theatre is in the process of cementing down a trip in which we'll create an experience for donors to buy into to travel to a location TBD. This is the first time in my history at the organization that we are doing this, and I was wondering if anyone else had experience with this and how you recorded the contributions in Tess. My first thought was as an elevated event to list attendees. Any suggestions would be much appreciated! Thank you!
Yes, an Elevated Event campaign can work fine for a donor tour. In the past I created two event levels: Single for one attendee and Double for a couple, but other than that I did very little unique setup.
Our Special Events Director kept track of things like dietary restrictions, travel documents, etc. outside of the system, but this could also live in Plans if that would be useful to your team.
