Hello,
I'm typically just in the box office but I'm reaching out per the request of our Development department. We are about to make a push for online donations, but the verbiage when checking out is pretty specifically and obviously geared towards patrons purchasing tickets to our productions. "Are you bringing service dogs, no babies allowed, etc". These obviously do not apply if the patron just wants to make a donation. Of course we can put in something like "please ignore if only making a contribution", but what I'm wondering is if TNEW has a sort of switch to change what text is displayed depending on the contents of the shopping cart.
For example, IF shopping Cart only contains an online donation, THEN the text displayed in Checkout/OrderNoteText will read "Are you dedicating this donation to another party?"
Something like that. We're also not crazy about the term Shopping Cart when it's a donation, so another switch like "Shopping Cart becomes Amount of Contribution" when only a donation is being placed.
I know this is very specific, but I just thought I'd check in case this is something that can be set up.
Thank you!
(I should mention we are still running on TNEW version 6, but will be upgrading in September to version 7)
Hi Tyler
I hope you don't mind me reaching out - I know it has been a while since you originally posted. Wondering if you were able to resolve this issue? Much thanks
Hey Julie,No worries! We were never able to resolve this particular dilemma. Our organization is now on TNEW v7, and we're doing a bit of a web overhaul while the pandemic has stalled our performances, so if I do end up figuring something out in the next few weeks, I will update it here.
Thanks Tyler
