Hi Everyone - we are still receiving gifts that were postmarked for 2018, so we intend to back-date contributions so that donors can deduct from their taxes.
In order to do this, our Accounting department requested that I open a batch on 12.31.18, and leave it open. Then, enter all gifts that need to be back-dated to 2018 in that batch.
It was a great plan, but I forgot to keep the batch open. So I'm wondering if it's possible to change the date on a batch/batch report? I don't think so, but just wanted to see if it was even a possibility.

You can change the posting date to 12/31/18, no problem. In the upper part of the posting window, you'll see the date and a chiclet to change it. You'll also want to make the contribution date of these gifts 12/31.
