Does anyone code constituents as Not a Prospect when they do not have capacity/affinity for your major gifts team? I came from higher ed where we had a robust system for doing this and am trying to figure out how to use Tessitura to set up this kind of overall prospect classification. I have seen some people use Attributes to put prospects into categories or DQ them. Other thoughts or is this the best way?
Thanks!

At 92Y, we used attributes as we qualified people from our wealth screening. We added plans for those we wanted to reach out to or watch. Then, if we decided to disqualify them after some initial outreach/watching, we would use status in the plan to disqualify and also had a "worker" for "Not Viable" so that we could pull or exclude those plans easily by worker.
