Does anyone code constituents as Not a Prospect when they do not have capacity/affinity for your major gifts team? I came from higher ed where we had a robust system for doing this and am trying to figure out how to use Tessitura to set up this kind of overall prospect classification. I have seen some people use Attributes to put prospects into categories or DQ them. Other thoughts or is this the best way?

We use plans for individual giving prospects and track all steps and communications with them. We use status to DQ them or move them in to other areas ie Cultivation, solicitation, etc.
