We're examining our practices with our ticket related donations--both our add on gifts with subscription orders and our smaller round up donations with single ticket orders. I was wondering how is handling memberships for these. Do you allow these gifts to roll into your Annual Fund memberships? Or, do you credit these gifts to a difference campaign?

Hi Justin,
At Des Moines Performing Arts we use a separate campaign for Round up gifts so that they are not added to an annual gift. We found that memberships were getting messy, especially for people who gave a round up when they were up for their annual donation renewal.
Most of the gifts that come in with subscriptions are annual gifts so we tie those to the annual campaign/memberships. Hope that helps. Let me know if you have additional questions.
