Is anyone else having an issue with Elevated Events Guest Name in v14.1?
When we enter a guest constituent ID triggering the guest name field to generate with the salutation, then we manually change the salutation to be the name as it should appear on place cards and save it, everything appears correct but then when we close the special event screen and re-open it, the guest name has changed back to the salutation. The guest name pulls correctly (the manually entered name appears) in elevated event reports but when someone looking at a donor's special event screen they can't tell if the names have already been updated or not and it's greatly slowing down our special events staff and making extra work.
Has anyone encountered this and come up with a solution? Thanks.
For the benefit of those users who may not have seen the cross-post to the Admin forum, this is item #122646 on the Reported Defects List, and is still with our developers for work. This list is usually updated weekly, so you can check back in to see when there is progress made. For reference, the defect note is:"When viewing Guests in the Elevated Event Record on a Constituent Record the Salutation 1 associated with the Guest's Constituent ID will always display, even if the Guest Name has been edited."
