We recently received a gift from a foundation for $15,000 and I would like to be able to assign the soft credit 50/50 to two different donors, but the system in not letting me upon entry. How have people handled splitting soft credit like this? Thank you!

Hi David,
You can put half of it On Account, soft credit the first donor and then open another contribution using the On Account funds and soft credit the other donor. Hope that helps!

David, Tessitura will allow you to soft-credit multiple Constituents from a single Contribution, however only if the Credit Membership Ind box is not checked for that creditee type in TR_CREDITEE_TYPE
