Hey guys,
We just started using promotions and we noticed something a little weird. Within the same list of promoted folks some have two promotions in their record for the same date the promotion was created. One for direct mail, one for email. We also have folks that have one direct mail under different date. Additionally we have folks that only have the promotion. Has anyone experienced this issue? If so how was it corrected?

I haven't experienced any issues with Promotions but will provide guidance on dates. When you create the source code it defaults to today's date; that date is editable and that date shows up in contribution entry. When you promote the source, you have an opportunity to change the date of the promotion, which is what shows up in the promotions tab. I recommend making your source and promotion date the same when possible because the staff processing transactions are looking at the source date by default, rather than promotions.
