Linking a past contribution to a pledge?

Hi all-

We had someone make a contribution but later decided that they wanted to make that the first payment of a pledge. We'd already processed the contribution as a stand alone. Is there a way to link it to the pledge without having to zero out the contribution and do it over?

    You can refund the payment to on-account and then apply it that way. Make a note in the contribution so that you know where that payment came from and so that you can refer to the original transaction if need be.
