Tracking company locations

How are folks tracking company locations or subsidiary companies?  We have several large corporations that engage with the museum on multiple levels and short of adding a separate company for each location/subsidiary/department we are at a loss to properly track these.  When we do reporting for the company to show how they are engaging with the museum (typically part of an ask for support) it is very cumbersome to pull several different accounts to add up monetary giving, tickets, events, classes and activities.  Open to new ways to enter this information.

I would love to have a parent company and have all of the locations entered as a relationship for the company but all the activity to roll up to the parent company.  Is this possible?

    Using the owner and initiator fields might get you part way there. If the subsidiary is the owner of contributions or orders and the parent company is the initiator, the orders and contributions would show up on both records. You'd need to be careful to always use the role field when pulling lists, and I'm not sure of similar way to track activities, but it could get you closer.
