We've been talking about sending email acknowledgements for contributions that come through on TNEW, particularly for those contributions that don't include tickets. Patrons feel like it is strange/confusing to have an "order confirmation" email when they didn't place an "order." I know we could use the dynamic email content to add some text about the donation but does anyone know if you can send a different order confirmation for those contributions on TNEW? Or making the order confirmation conditional so that some of the wording can be adjusted?
Another question (yes, I have a lot of questions today!) is whether anyone is sending email acknowledgements for contributions that don't come through TNEW. I'd love to talk about how you have that working! I've thought about doing this through Mail2 using a custom view but then I wonder how it identifies in Tess that the ack was sent.
