Acknowledgment Letters Without Donations

Hey everyone!

I am the Membership Services Specialist at Scottsdale Arts. When I print membership cards I print them using the Print Acknowledgment Letters report, however these are paid memberships. Our staff is given their membership free of charge so I am not able to go through the steps of a contribution to set them up with the correct Acknowledgement Letter. Does anyone know if there's another way to apply an Acknowledgement Letter to a constituency besides going through the process of a donation?

  • I do know that Memberships can be manually added to someones record. Would that manual addition not trigger something for you? If you have a comp membership type, then you could run a list and output set to get your letters. Attributes would be another way to track and to mark a record to receive a comp membership.

I do manually apply the memberships for our employees. The issue is we print our membership cards off of an Acknowledgement Letter. If I manually apply a membership to someone's constituency they are not given the Acknowledgment Letter.
