We are working on our New Year's Eve Gala which is an elevated event in Tessitura. We record their meal choice (beef, chicken, vegetarian) as a performance. I am wondering how everyone records dietary restriction (ex. gluten free, etc) for each guest.
I put global dietary restrictions, as opposed to menu choices for one event, as attributes. I have a keyword called Dietary Restrictions, and I add values in T_KWCODED_VALUES as needed. Currently we have the following:
I can’t say we use these much—we’re not in the catering business, here—but if I needed to I’d create a string of values in TX_CUST_KEYWORD where keyword_no = n, where n = the keyword for Dietary Restrictions, to add to an events report on an individual patron level. That would spare someone the step of adding these into the notes of an individual’s event record.
