tracking ticket use through associations

I would like to be able to track tickets purchased by all constituents associated with one constituent. This would help me to track how involved the staff of our Corporate Partners have become with our programme.

eg tickets purchased by all constituents associated with Big Corp - ideally with the option to limit by order date or performance date

is there a standard report which addresses this which I am missing or does anyone have a nifty solution?

    Hi Katherine,

    You could first create a list with parameters including the performance date or order date and the Constituent ID of Big Corp.  Before closing the parameters window, click on the Associations button in the bottom right corner.  In the window that opens up highlight all of the applicable association types for Big Corp.  If you don't want the Big Corp ID in the list make sure that the Keep Base IDs box is unchecked.  The list that then generates is all IDs associated to Big Corp with tickets for this date.

    Then to determine number of tickets booked or orders by these constituents, as far as canned reports with a list parameter you could run the Performance Seating Book or Single Sale Order Listing to determine these numbers.
