Digital Acknowledgements Experience Inquiry

I am the gift acknowledgement coordinator at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and we are interested in rolling out the use of email acknowledgements for high volume and lower level giving donations (not membership related - we will most likely use WordFly). I am writing to inquire if anyone has experience sending Acknowledgements digitally? If so, SFMOMA is attempting to gather some benchmark information along the lines of: 1. Best practices 2. Areas of improvement 3. Archiving for internal records If your organization has experience in this realm and can share, please respond! Thank you!

Kansas City Ballet would be interested in this as well.
We would like to begin exploring sending electronic acknowledgements to our lower end donors as well.
Thanks,
Marie
