We're trying to make better use of Plans in Tess and exploring using the my portfolio screen to manage upcoming steps as well as steps that are past due. I've added the "has open steps" column and selected true, but I'm coming across a lot of people for whom there seemingly are no open steps.
The only thing I can think of is that these people have audit steps, which have a step date, but no completed date. Because of the nature of audit steps, I can't edit them to include a completed date. Am I missing something? Being able to filter my portfolio based on folks who have open steps would seem to be a great option, but it's irrelevant if it's filled with folks whose only open step is a change of status or campaign...

Erin, I'm not certain of the intended functionality in the Portfolio screen, but the Plan Step Details widget does explicitly exclude audit steps. So as a workaround you could potentially set up a dashboard using that widget, or a few copies of that widget filtered to different plan types (or campaigns or however you wanted to group them) and then limit to the desired step types/dates in the widget. That might be a workaround for you, or at least might help you dig deeper in determining if the cause is indeed audit steps as you suspect.
