membership details report - NRR status or trends

I'm looking to find trends in a membership details report.

I see where the NRR status lists upgrade, but I also want to see at what level the member was prior to upgrade? For example, was a member at giving level one and upgraded to giving level 3? Is this trackable in the membership details report or is there another report that provides the original membership level and new membership level?

Thank you,

  • Nancy, you can do a bit of this, sort of from the other direction, in T-Stats using the Next Membership dimension. Try this:

New Report in the Memberships Cube

Filter/Slicer: limit to the desired campaign or initiatation and/or expiration dates (for the "prior" membership); Next Membership Details - Next Macro Trend, limit to upgrade

Add to categories: Member Levels - Member Level

Add to series: Num Constituents; Next Membership Details - Next Memb Level

That won't give you the names like the Membership Details report, but it will give you a cross-section of the movement between levels. So if your goal here is really to see not so much who upgraded, but something more like how many upgraded and from where to where, this approach may be beneficial.
