Just wanted to pick your brains on this--what do you think are the most effective ways to track gifts that board members have acted as an initator for?

Hi Michael,
I recommend adding the board member to the donor's plan, but not as the primary solicitor. You'll then have that info in plan reporting, etc.

Adding the Board member as a worker is a great method. I've also found that soft-crediting the Board member during gift entry has been helpful as well. You might even be able to work with your Systems Admin and create a custom creditee type for these kind of gifts.
