Hey everyone -
I'm wondering what everyone else uses as their "go-to" reports (or list/extraction criteria set-ups) for the following data?
1) 3-5 year consecutive donors (with amounts for each year)
2) List of Donors at each "level" (I realize all of our levels will be different :) ) with their amount given
3) lased donors who haven't given for several years
4) the good old "LYBNT" list
5) renewals - those who gave last year, but not thus far in the current year
6) A quick way to look at a donor pyramid by season.

1) 3-5 year consecutive donors (with amounts for each year) – I PULL A LIST OF DONORS FOR THOSE YEARS, THEN USE AN OUTPUT SET WITH MULTIPLE CUSTOM “TOTAL GIVING” ELEMENTS TO GIVE ME THE TOTALS FROM EACH YEAR
2) List of Donors at each "level" (I realize all of our levels will be different :) ) with their amount given – AGAIN, I PULL A DONOR LIST (BASED ON DATE OR FY), I ADD IN THE PROGRAM LISTING (BECAUSE THAT SHOULD BE UPDATED WITH THEIR LEVEL) AND A CUSTOM “TOTAL GIVING” ELEMENT TO GIVE ME THEIR AMOUNT. IF YOU HAVE MEMBERSHIPS SET UP, YOU COULD PULL A MEMBERSHIP LEVEL REPORT.
3) lased donors who haven't given for several years – I PULL A LIST BASED ON “DOES NOT HAVE” CAMPAIGNS, OR I USE EXTRACTIONS TO GET “RENEWALS/LAPSED” – START WITH YOUR MOST CURRENT FY, THEN BUILD A SEGMENT FOR EACH FY GOING BACKWARD. THE RESULTS WILL BE WHO WAS IN ANY PARTICULR YEAR WHO DID NOT RETURN FOR THE NEXT YEAR. I CURRENTLY HAVE THIS BUILT-OUT FOR THE PAST 5 OR 6 FISCAL YEARS, I UPDATE IT AS NEW GIFTS COME IN AND REPORT THE NUMBERS AND RECORDS TO MY GIFT OFFICERS
4) the good old "LYBNT" list – I USE THE “CAMPAIGN GIVING COMPARISON” REPORT FOR THIS BECAUSE I CAN COMPARE 2 SETS OF CAMPAIGN DATA. IT WILL GIVE YOU NAMES, AMOUNTS AND DATES. FOR MORE HISTORICAL DATA, I USE THE EXTRACTION THAT I EXPLAINED ABOVE.
5) renewals - those who gave last year, but not thus far in the current year – SAME AS #4
6) A quick way to look at a donor pyramid by season – I GUESS YOU COULD PULL A LIST OF FY17 DONORS $1000-2500 (OR WHATEVER YOUR LEVELS ARE) TO SEE HOW MANY RECORDS ARE IN THOSE RANGES. IF YOU HAVE MEMBERSHIPS SET UP, THEN YOU COULD PULL A MEMBERSHIP LEVEL REPORT.
