For my position, I have been doing quite a bit of networking and business card exchanging with potential sponsors, donors, etc. I am curious how everyone save this information and do you input all potential sponsor into Tessitura. If so, are these contact given an "attribute"?

When I network with somebody who could potentially be a sponsor (or is a membership/donor prospect), I like to create their constituent record in Tessitura and then set up a Plan for them. It is possible to create Campaigns that won't be tied to a specific group of Funds, or you can actually set up a plan for them in the Campaign that a potential gift would be received in.
Since Plans have so many ways that you can enter custom data for "Plan Step Types" and the like, I've just found this to be the most useful way to track this sort of prospecting information.
