Hi, We are looking into a way to track sustainable or recurring contributions without having to create pledges for several years in the future. Has anyone used the Membership Auto Renewal report to do so. The documentation sounds like it will work for this, but when I search the forums organizations are still looking for a way to track recurring gifts.
If a campaign is created for several years in the future for sustainable gifts and if it is given its own membership "organization" and levels, theoretically this may work.
Thoughts or options would be much appreciated. We outsource our sql reports and requests.

Hi there,
At SF Ballet the Membership Auto Renewal Report runs in review mode and sends a PDF report every month. I (Membership Manager) then review the pledges that are theoretically up for renewal and pass the info along to our gifts processor. I find that the report does cast a wide net and comes up with folks who are not technically sustainers and should not be renewed, so we don't run it as a utility because we prefer being able to review the pledges before they are entered.
