Hi all!
How do I pull a list of donors who contributed in FY15 AND FY16 without using SQL? I keep getting stragglers who donated to one fiscal year or the other, but I need people who donated in both years. Thanks in advance! :)
I pull “Contribution Campaign – IN – and choose ALL appropriate campaigns within the fiscal years that I need. Then I spot check a good number of the resulting constituents. One step further is to create an output set using some custom Total Giving elements. Along with “Customer Sort Name” and other elements you might need, I add “Total Giving _P” selecting the first set of appropriate campaigns, then “Total Giving _P 2” and selecting the second set of appropriate campaigns. Then my excel spreadsheet will show the values for each set. If there are holes, then you can trouble shoot from there, or sort and go with what you have.
I think you can also pull a Campaign Comparison report and save it as a CSV file, then sort. Run it against the proposed list above, OR a list that has your first campaign (14-15 Individual Giving) in the upper part of the list criteria, along with second campaign (15-16 Individual Giving) in the OR/bottom section of the list criteria. That report will give you the dollar amount for each. The report parameters will only compare campaigns ONE-to-ONE.
Thanks,
Marie
