Hello!
I was wondering how other organizations are tracking pledges for donors who have a tendency to use Donor Advised Funds? I know one cannot enter a pledge for the DAF organization itself nor can you apply it to an existing pledge but I was wondering if anyone has created some sort of tracking system.

We put the "verbal" amount in a Plan. We use the Recorded field to track this information once the donor lets us know they will be making a gift through a donor-advised fund. Since the plan can be attached to the gift, if works perfectly to let us see if a contribution has been made when we look at the Plan report.
