Adjusting Membership and Allocating Funds

Hello,

Recently, I've come across a list of contributions that were either upgraded a current membership when they should have created a new membership, or a created a new membership when it should have upgraded the current membership.  Typically, I would use the Allocate Funds button when entering the gift, but since these gifts have already been entered, is there any way to allocate these gifts to the correct memberships without having to zero out and reenter the gifts?

Thanks,

Justin Foo

  • Sorry – for the gift to be allocated to the correct membership it will have to be reposted.  You may want to adjust the contributions date when you enter to reflect with the gift actually was received.  Watch for impact on tax receipts due to change in non-deductibles.
