Source Group rel. to ext set

Hello,

I was asked recently what the Extraction Set manager's Source Group drop down controls and where these values are stored. As best I can tell, selections in Source Default only get used to create source codes, so I'd like to find out more information on these values by looking at their db table.

Any help or documentation is greatly appreciated.
