T-Shirt premium

Has anyone ever give out T-Shirts as a donor/membership incentive gift?  How did you collect and track information regarding sizing needs?  Did you use the Premium functionality to track it?  Also, how many of each size did you order - did you order before donors responded with their size or after?

    I have used premiums to track our season guide ads - we give our corporate members an ad and the size is based on their level of membership. I imagine this would be very similar to using premiums for t-shirts. You could set up an appeal for this and add the premiums to the appeal. Then when you are entering the gift using this appeal as the source, the premiums will be available and you can select the right premium (size) for the donor.

    You can use the standard Premium Labels report to see who hasn't been sent a t-shirt and print labels or merge with a Word template. I also created an output set so that I can get a spreadsheet of all the ads for this year and sort by size - so that's an alternative if you wanted to get all the t-shirt orders at once instead of running the Premium Labels report separately for each size.

  • We use premiums quite a lot, I’m just not sure what to do about the different t-shirt sizes and how to track who needed what size and how many of each size we need.  Right now I’m thinking of just making a different premium for each size so that I can select each independently.  Was just hoping someone out there had come up with a better solution.
