I should have asked this question 5-10 years ago, but hey, it's never too late to learn a new trick.
Pledges with a billing schedule have always been pesky during data entry. Despite whatever dates I have put into the scheduling window, the auto-generated dates are *never* what I want them to be:
The truth is, 98% of our pledges need to be scheduled to run on the 15th of the month. Is anyone aware of a way to make that happen automatically?

Have you looked at TR_BILLING_SCHEDULE? Once you set that up, when you are entering the payment plan, you click on the chicklet next to the number of payments field. You'll select your billing schedule from the drop down and click schedule. That will auto-populate the plan based on the schedule you created. You can modify any dates or payment amounts if need be.
