Hi!
I have multiple addresses for several constituents. How do I isolate the work address alone for my mail out? Currently, I can only pull up the home address which is the primary address. I don't want to change the business address to be the primary address either. Do I have to create a report for a mailout that isolates certain addresses? (is this possible?)

The functionality you are looking for is controlled through Mail Purposes. From the List_Creation_and_Management doc:

The Mailing Purpose parameter determines the postal addresses selected for output. If a constituent has a postal address with the selected mailing purpose that address will be used, otherwise the primary address will be used.
For example, you could elect to use Mail Purpose 2 for all Development-related mailings. Make sure that this business address has mail purpose 2 checked. When outputting your list from Tessitura be sure to select the same mail purpose from the "Mailing Purpose" report parameter.
