We are considering doing a batch import of some contributions from our Gala. We do not want these transactions to update the plan associated with the campaign. Has anyone found a way to control this?
This sounds like you are using the same campaign for both your gala event and your regular giving. If the gala was processed in Tessitura, expected configuration would have the gala be an elevated event. Since elevated events are a type of campaign, these contributions wouldn't affect your plan for a different campaign.
We have a Gala Campaign, with funds for tickets, silent auction, etc. Even when the plan has a Ticket fund associated with it, the contribution amount is getting updated by a transaction with a different fund.
Documentation says update only happens if fund matches – does anyone know if there is a fix in the works for this?
