Posting this question on behalf of our Development department:
I have a question re: moving donations from individual to household files. When I try to do this, instead of moving the donation off the individual file and into the household donation list, Tess shows the gift simultaneously on both the household and the individual file, with owner (O) and initiator(I) tags respectively.
I understand that this was enacted in v. 12.5 because some organizations expressed interest in tracking who initiated gifts on behalf of a household. We have not tracked this in the past and prefer the donation listed on the joint household only.
Is there a way to do this?
