Splitting a Household in a Consortium

Former Member

Hi,

I'm wondering if there is a way to split a HH in a consortium environment where A1 is a VIP at one organization and A2 is a VIP at another organization.  We want A1 to keep all our data and history but another org wants A2 to keep all their data and history.  Is there a way to split the household so that we can keep all our data with A1 and the other org can keep all their data with A2?

Thanks so much!

Mark

  • Hi Mark,

I would imagine this would be a perfect use for communication manager. Your consortium would have to discuss the use of communication manager but, you can control group that information so this is a perfect solution to your conundrum. You could also use constituencies to be placed on the individual accounts that reference their VIP status. Another suggestion would be to have both of your organizations place void merges on each individual account in this household so that the accounts aren't merged on accident.
