Misc. Giving Campaign

Hello all,

We are considering making a new campaign -- Misc. Giving Campaign -- for all gifts that are not directly tied to membership level, which would let us leave our Individual Campaign as a membership-only campaign. Does anyone have their development revenue set up like this? We'd love to hear about your experience before expanding our campaign structure.

Thank you so much -- happy holidays!

I think most of us have multiple campaigns set up each year. We have one for membership, one for “general” (this would be analogous to your miscellaneous), one for our year-end appeal, etc.  We also have separate campaigns for foundation and corporate giving. All of those are single year campaigns, but of course we also have a multi-year capital campaign. It does help with reporting to separate the different campaigns.
