Utility to creat membership without Contributions

Last night I was thinking about the same thing. In V12.5.0 the constituent import Utility can be customized to take local parameters. These local parameters could be used to create a comp membership. We have not done this but it is an idea to survive the flood that is ID NYC.

That would be good but when the import utility identifies dupes in database, there will still be a group of records that need the membership afterwards. Given the 500-700 membership needed to be created each week, it is a program needed soon.

 

To provide update on this.   We found that NYCBallet had created a procedure for adding membership records.   Our IT area worked with Tessitura network to incorporate it into our system.  

The municipal ID members are still being processed at 40-60 a week so having this program along with the Constituent Import has saved hours of work and staff time.
