Hello

I am interested to find out if we can receipt and acknowledge donations direct from Tess? We hope to run an automatic follow up on smaller donation direct and on the day. Does anyone have suggestions?

    Hi Dee,

    If you have Mail2 integration with Tessitura, you can set up recurring triggered emails that pull from a dynamic list in Tessitura. So your list could pull anyone whose contribution date = rundate, and then schedule the email to send at the end of the work day. In Mail2 you can also create output sets to include more specific information about the donation such as the amount, I believe

    I am in the midst of setting up something like this for our smaller donations. Happy to update you in a few days to let you know the results...

    Thank you for asking this question!! Obviously, donations received online are sent an immediate receipt/thank you.

     

    As well as Dee, I am also very interested in an automated receipt function for manually entered gifts.

    We have an additional acknowledgement letter set up for receipts.  We can add it to contributions and print as needed.  We used it mostly for space rentals and image rights payments – things processed in Tess that wouldn’t normally have an acknowledgement letter.
