Fixing Membership Levels

I should be able to pull a quick report to find our current donors based on level, but the results are not accurate. I believe they are pulling from funds that it shouldn't (such as elevated events and donated tickets). I'm looking for advice on how best to set up our membership levels so that when I'm asked how many members we have at a certain level I can easily report on that.

    Are you running the membership update utility? If not, memberships will not move from Active to Inactive or any other status. You might just need to spend some time in the documentation, or else do a little Tessitura consulting time to get everything set up correctly. There are a lot of moving pieces - it's easy to miss something! Good luck!

    Thanks for the replies everyone, will take a better look at the funds/campaigns. I'm also having issue with dates - the membership not turning off properly even after the previous gift is over two years old. Will definitely have to read up a bit on this. Most of my experience in Tessi has been on the ticketing side, not development.
