Supression Segments in Extractions

Hi everyone,

I'm utterly confused.  If I create a dynamic list in List Manager, and then apply said dynamic list to an extraction and suppress, will the suppressed list automatically update to reflect any possible adjustments since it was last utilised in the extractions utility, or do I have to generate counts prior to applying it in the extractions utility to ensure the list is current and up-to-date?

Thanks, Phil

Are you sure Michele?  I have addressed this issue to RAMP and have been told it regenerates upon use – but this does need absolute clarification as I am sure many folks are dealing with this question.

It seems a shame if it does not regenerate itself since it is checked off to be dynamic .  I dealt with this issue in using WordFly email outputs – thinking I had to regenerate the ListManager list before selecting the email group in WordFly.

I was assured the ListManager list regenerates without having to do it in ListManager before running the dynamic list in WordFly.

Would some from Tessitura please confirm?  Thanks!

    Hi Phil,

You would need to regenerate the extraction in order for the list to regenerate.
