Applying a Matching Gift

Can someone remind me....I have a gift from a donor and a matching gift from their company. I have entered the gifts and forgot to apply the matching gift credit.

Can I make that adjustment within the constituent record, or do I need to back out the contribution and re-enter to the apply the matching gift credit? I think I have to do the latter.

Any and all help is appreciated.

    I performed an adjustment without changing the amount or any other information. Worked like a charm.

    Marie - definitely the way to do it.   You can also change the amount, restricted schedules, and payment schedules (current to future and vice versa) without backing out the transaction and reentering it.
