Fund/Campaign Linkage Error

What is the date you’re assigning to the contribution you’re entering?  Does that date fall between the start and end dates by which the fund is associated to the campaign?

Anyone have advice for what to do when they are entering a contribution and, having selected an active Fund which is tied to the desired Campaign, an Error Message appears stating that the selected Fund is not associated with a Campaign? I have quintuple-checked that the Fund is active, linked to an active campaign, and that the start dates on the campaign and fund both are several months prior to the contribution date.

I am getting aggravated beyond belief, and as we have no internal IT support for Tessitura, I would greatly appreciate any tips.

So...any advice?
