Fund/Campaign Linkage Error

Anyone have advice for what to do when they are entering a contribution and, having selected an active Fund which is tied to the desired Campaign, an Error Message appears stating that the selected Fund is not associated with a Campaign? I have quintuple-checked that the Fund is active, linked to an active campaign, and that the start dates on the campaign and fund both are several months prior to the contribution date.

I am getting aggravated beyond belief, and as we have no internal IT support for Tessitura, I would greatly appreciate any tips.

So...any advice?

Thanks in advance.

    Hi Aaron,

This happens to me when the Fund I have selected is not attached to a *current* Campaign.  For example, if you have created a Fund to be used for next year's Campaign, Tessitura will complain if the same Fund does not exist for *this* year's Campaign.

I have gotten around this by either adding the Fund to a current Campaign or expanding the future Campaign's date range to include today's date.  These can be adjusted back after you are done.

Just make sure not to enter any gifts in a Campaign in which they don't belong.

  • You mentioned that start date is within range but not if there is an end date.  If the fund doesn’t have an end date this message of non-association will appear.   Check that
