We use the Assign a Membership feature often during contribution entry to process gifts from donor advised funds and family foundations. In an attempt to report on current donors, we came across two issues.
First, the Current Membership Giving report lists the original donor, not the constituent to which the membership was assigned.
Second, we are having trouble identifying constituents with an assigned membership who donated to a specific fund.
Has anyone come across these issues and have any solutions?
