Has anyone used a credit card reader or swiper to collect credit card data at a fundraising event, and then imported the credit card data into Tess after the event? We don't want to have to pay fees to a third party mobile credit card processor and want to run the transactions directly in Tess.
If it's something you've done before and would recommend, I'd love to find out what type of credit card reader you've used, what software the data was imported into, how to make sure it's PCI compliant, and how you uploaded the data to Tess.
From my research, it looks like we could use the Contribution Import utility in Tess to get the data from a CSV file into Tess. And we're looking at Magtek credit card reader.
