I accidentally selected an uncontrolled batch and put a contribution on it. Any repercussions to closing? How does this affect "cash" since I can't enter a received amount?
Is there any way to delete or void, rather than closing it?

There is no repercussion to closing an uncontrolled batch. When you put a transaction in an uncontrolled batch the transaction does happen in the database in real time. Therefore if you are tracking the revenue you may need to backdate the post for that batch if you haven't closed it yet. If you would prefer you could in the same batch adjust the contribution down to 0 and return the money to the same payment method and that way the batch would be at 0 when you post it.
