Deleting Plans

Is there a way to delete a plan with steps already entered?

  • Jacob,

I have had no success with that either. We have added a specific step for those plans we want to delete. This makes the companies easily sort-able delete-able when reports are pulled.

    Anna,

I cannot delete the steps. It keeps giving me an error message, saying the step type cannot be deleted. Have tried multiple times, ways, etc but it wont delete.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Jacob

    Adam,

You have to delete the steps first.  We just recently (as in yesterday) resolved a defect in v12.1 where you are precluded from deleting a plan if it has audit steps because we don't let you delete audit steps and we don't let you delete a plan with steps.  A workaround is to make a plan status of 'zDeleted' and when you upgrade to 12.5 make a list of constituents with that status and delete them in 12.5.

    Best,

    Anna
