So we are running into an issue with Household accounts getting credit for a gift made by an individual who is associated to that household. The individual is the person giving the gift but I am not able to even soft credit this person because they are not the household account....anyone else running into this issue? Any advice? Work arounds? I fear this will be problematic when we are trying to credit our donors in our playbill listing since the individual isn't going to be associated with this gift.

Check the T_DEFAULTS table for an TRANSACT_AS_HOUSEHOLD_CREDITEE entry. If set to Yes then all soft credits go to the household, when set to No you may credit the individual. When you get to v12 you may want to look into using initiator for those individuals. You then may pull a list based on the owner and/or initiator.
